Rowing is fun, a great way to meet people and a fantastic way to meet people and a fantastic way of keeping fit.

If you’re new to rowing, our Learn to Row courses will get you out on the water and meeting new people, and introduce you to both the sporting and social sides of the club.

In this taster session, you will learn about rowing terminology, what the rowing stroke consists of, how to apply it on the indoor rowing machine (ergo) and then have a go in a boat (supervised).

The sessions are open to all, Adults or Juniors.  If you’re a Junior (or the parent of a Junior) interested in learning to row, you may be interested in a separate 6 week learn to row programme found on below.

If you would like to attend either event, please contact simonmurray36@gmail.com.

If you’re a Junior (or the parent of a Junior) interested in learning to row, then this course is just for you.

The course is designed to develop your rowing from complete beginner to a “novice” level running every Saturday from 27th April to 1st June. You will learn about rowing terminology, what the rowing stroke consists of, how to apply it on the indoor rowing machine (ergo) and then put it into practice on the water.

We will be holding a further course in the summer if there sufficient interest – so please get in contact either way with simonmurray36@gmail.com.
